The Harrow Health CIC Headache service provides rapid access to a headache specialist GPwSI Dr Laurence Gould.

Dr Lawrence Gould (M)

MBBS MRCS LRCP DRCOG

Dr Gould is a GP with a specialist interest in neurology and learning disability. The senior partner at The Stanmore Medical Centre, Dr Gould also participates in the duty rota for St Luke Hospice. A Harrow GP for 22 years, Dr Gould has lived in the borough since he was four. An all-round sportsman, Dr Gould wants to improve access to healthcare and waiting times for treatment and investigation.

Paediatrics

The Harrow Health CIC Children and Paediatrics service works over two sites; The Pinn Medical Centre and Kenton Bridge Medical Centre. This allows patients to be seen in the community by our team of Consultants and GPwSI’s.

Asthma, recurrent URTIs  (Not cystic fibrosis)

Rashes including eczema, vitiligo

Abdominal Pain, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, food intolerance (e.g. lactose intolerance, not allergy)

Rheumatology

Aches and pains, joint pains

Urinary Symptoms

Under 5 à HHL

Over 6 bed-wetting à send to Caryl Thomas 

Paediatric Gynaecology

 

Neurology (not epilepsy)

Including headaches (but not neuro-disability)

Fits, faints and funny turns.

Gait problems

Flat feet, intoeing, etc.

Baby < 1 year problems

Feeding problems, failure to thrive.
Undescended testes, birth marks, head size.

Vitamin D problems

 

Anxious parents

HHL clinics can see children quickly when there is a high degree of parental anxiety.
